Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music exploring humanity's deepest emotions, set within the beautiful King's College Chapel, Taunton. Inspired by images of hands, heart and soul, this thoughtfully curated programme invites audiences on a musical pilgrimage through suffering, compassion, longing, hope and transcendence.

Featuring the highly-acclaimed Divertimento Ensemble and international concert organist of The Bach Choir, Philip Scriven, this moving performance offers a journey of reflection, connection and renewal through music that speaks directly to the heart.

The profound devotion of Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri sits alongside Caroline Shaw's powerful To the Hands, while Max Richter's On the Nature of Daylight and Jake Runestad’s take on Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus offer moments of luminous beauty and reflection. Spiritual yearning and liberation find voice in Tippett's evocative arrangements of Steal Away and Go Down, Moses, while Ola Gjeilo's Dark Night of the Soul explores the path from darkness towards light.
